Photographer - John N. Poulos

JOHN N. POULOS was born and raised down the
Jersey Shore, where he now resides with his wife
and sons. John is an attorney with a Wall Street
law firm in Jersey City, New Jersey. John is an
avid photographer, having pursued his passion for
photography for over ten years. His work focuses
on architectural, cityscape and fine art
photography. As an emerging architectural
photographer, John has a passion for depicting the
ever-changing landscape of metropolitan cities,
including New York City and Jersey City, as well
as the Jersey Shore. John's work reflects a unique
ability to breathe new life into his subjects by, for
example, bringing out the true art and beauty in
abandoned buildings that have been left by society
to decay.

John photographs primarily in medium format film
and digital. He currently uses a Mamiya 7II
medium format rangefinder, Nikon D700 and D200.

John holds a Bachelor of Arts from New York
University and a Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn
Law School. He also attends the New York
Institute of Photography.
